Glare can come from a variety of sources--vehicles passing by the house, reflections from other houses, pools, concrete, etc. While curtains are one solution, they should not be thought of as your only option. Let exterior rolling shutters do the "heavy lifting" of dealing with the effects of the sun. Curtains can decorate nicely without having to serve two purposes. And rather than being stuck with fixed solutions like solar screens and tinted glass that make things dark all the time, rolling shutters can give you tremendous decorative flexibility: "Sometimes curtains; sometimes nothing at all."
